Despite the “ramblings,” which I found to be very informative and added greatly to my understanding of the subject matter, I thought the pace of the presentation was conducive to appreciating and absorbing the taste and qualities of the samples, and the resting of the palate, which enabled me to appreciate the next sample.

I could definately tell Scottes was well prepared for the event, and probably had more information to impart. I am particularly interested in the historical information, as well as the technical aspects of distillation. Some supplimentary images, pictures etc., would be fantastic. Might I recommend a tour of some of the distilleries for pics, and sampling? I’d be happy to go along as translator/cabana boy or whatever.

Looking forward to the next one!
