…I usually top off the mojito pitcher with a few hits of bitters. Will add fresh berries next summer! You’ve probably been all over the eggnogg recipes, as I have, but this one is the best – http://256.com/gray/recipes/eggnog/ . The recipe is very close to what my aunt (also a former new england bell mngr) made back in her hayday. Those folks really knew the good stuff. The most important point of this receipe is to make it in glass or porcelin, store it in glass and drink it in glass. Plastic will kill destroy the thick creamyness required. I make this at xmas and distribute to the family and friends in wine or rum bottles.

Thanks for plug. I love rum, I just wish the Liquor Control Board of Ontario would stock more variety. But then I’m sure my wife is happy that I limited and can’t spend more money on rum. Good post.
